My sociology professor, for the third time in a row and fifth time total, did not show up to class this morning. It’s a 9:30 class that takes me approximately 45 minutes to get to. And every Tuesday morning, I have a very intense inner struggle as to whether or not I should make the journey. But maybe he’ll be there today. I’d feel stupid if I missed one of the few lectures, says one side of me. Maria, he hasn’t showed up for the past x weeks, he probably won’t show up today. And besides, this bed is comfortable, says the other side.
But I always go. And to my not-surprise, there was a sign on the classroom door saying there would be no class. Really, France? Really? (Yes, I’m blaming the entire country).
Also–since we’re in the 21st century, don’t you think we’d be at the point where students would receive an email if there wasn’t class? Or is that too much of a technical headache? Oh my.
