I’m scheduled to be on NPR’s “Talk of the Nation” on Thursday, Dec. 24, at 2 PM Eastern time, to talk about my new book “Memoir: A History.” So please give a listen as you’re wrapping your presents or trimming your tree, or whatever it is you do. Friendly call-in questions are also encouraged.
You can listen online at npr.org, or find a list of stations that carry the show here.
Merry Christmas to the Christmas folk, happy holidays to the holiday folk, and a fantastic Festivus for the rest of us!

Ben, caught the show after the fact, via streaming audio…
Good show!
By the way, I would call my autobiography “Once You’re Dead, It’s Over” (apologies to Isaac Asimov). Or perhaps “Twenty Thousand Logs Under the Secant: My Life in Math and Engineering” (apologies to everyone for that one)
Thanks, Tom–and I would go with number 2–it would be the first memoir with the word “secant” in it!
Jane, Terrance and I listened on NPR Orlando. Enjoyed it very much, almost as much as I’m enjoying the new book!
Happy Holiday!
Wonderful, Joan. And merry Xmas!—Ben
